Lorenzo Bromell: NFL Vet, Licensed Minister, Entrepreneur

Lorenzo Bromell played Defensive End in the National Football League from 1998 to 2005. Through his tenure with the Miami Dolphins, Minnesota Vikings, Oakland Raiders, and New York Giants, Mr. Bromell played passionately as an accomplished pass rusher, still holding the top sack record from the Miami Dolphins since 1998. To name a few, Mr. Bromell has received many accolades like NFL Rookie of the Year Runner Up, Pro Bowl Alternate, Top Restricted Free Agent, and Top Unrestricted Free Agent. Mr. Bromell is regarded as a dominating, skillful, and powerful player, most notably known for inadvertently breaking Peyton Manning’s jaw and Chris Weinke’s ribs.

Although Mr. Bromell was drafted to the NFL out of college in 1998, he returned to his university, Clemson, to finish school in 2006 after retiring from the NFL because he believes in the importance of education. Mr. Bromell graduated with his Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology with a minor in Speech & Communications from Clemson University in 2007.

In May 2014, Mr. Bromell graduated from Charis Bible College with his Master’s Degree in Biblical Studies. Upon graduation, Mr. Bromell became a Licensed Minister in the State of Colorado.  While attending Charis Bible College, Mr. Bromell received revelation from God that one platform for his Christ based ministry would be through youth football. Thus, Elite Gladiators Football Camp was born.

As a former NFL player, Mr. Bromell has volunteered to speak to many groups of young people at schools and through organizations about achieving dreams in life, and fulfilling God’s purpose for their lives. Mr. Bromell particularly enjoys speaking to groups of troubled youth as a motivational speaker because he challenges them to use their sometimes harsh current circumstances to fuel their drive for success. Mr. Bromell is able to relate to troubled youth because he grew up in extreme poverty and surrounded by violence. Bromell is not only able to help young men improve their skills on the football field, but he is able to serve as a mentor to encourage them to make wise decisions in life. Mr. Bromell was privileged to co-host of “Life Issues, Real Answers,” an outreach of Dee Chernicky Ministries, which was aired on Destin 91.1 FM.

Mr. Bromell is also a licensed Florida Realtor and franchise owner.
